How can we help?

Step-by-step guides for running a paid Telegram channel or group on MemberBot — create your own membership bot, connect payments (Stripe, PayPal, crypto, M-Pesa & Telegram Stars), build subscription plans, and manage members automatically.

New here? Setting up a Telegram membership bot takes three steps: 1. create your bot with Telegram's BotFather, 2. connect a payment method and create your plans, 3. add the bot to your channel or group — it handles invites, renewals, and removals automatically. Start free and follow the guides below.

Getting started

Create your Telegram bot with BotFather

Your MemberBot storefront runs on your own Telegram bot — created for free, in Telegram, in about a minute. It stays under your name and username, so members only ever see your brand.

STEP BY STEP

Open Telegram and start a chat with @BotFather, the official bot that makes bots, and tap Open to launch its app.
Choose to create a new bot. (Prefer typing? Sending /newbot does the same.)
Type a display name (e.g. "Acme VIP") — this shows at the top of the chat.
Type a username. It must be unique and end in bot (e.g. acme_vip_bot).
BotFather shows your bot's API token: copy it, you paste it into MemberBot next. You can find it again on your bot's page in the BotFather app.
/newbot
Done! Use this token to access the HTTP API: 7712345678:AAE_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Keep your token secure.

OPTIONAL POLISH

  • In the BotFather app, open your bot to add a profile photo, a description and about text: what people see before pressing Start.
Warning: Keep your token secret — anyone who has it controls your bot. If it ever leaks, open your bot in the BotFather app and revoke the token for a fresh one (or send /revoke), then re-paste it in MemberBot.
