How can we help?

Step-by-step guides for running a paid Telegram channel or group on MemberBot — create your own membership bot, connect payments (Stripe, PayPal, crypto, M-Pesa & Telegram Stars), build subscription plans, and manage members automatically.

New here? Setting up a Telegram membership bot takes three steps: 1. create your bot with Telegram's BotFather, 2. connect a payment method and create your plans, 3. add the bot to your channel or group — it handles invites, renewals, and removals automatically. Start free and follow the guides below.

Sell membership on Discord — how it works

MemberBot runs paid membership on your own Discord server too — right alongside Telegram. A single plan can unlock a Telegram channel, a Discord role, or both at once, and members pay one price to get everything.

ACCESS IS A ROLE

On Discord, access = a role. You map each plan to a role; when a subscriber links their Discord account, MemberBot assigns that role and keeps it while they're paid. When the membership lapses, the role comes off automatically — the same lifecycle as Telegram's invite & kick.

One plan, both platforms. Add a Telegram channel and a Discord role to the same plan, and members unlock both with a single subscription — no double-charging.

WHAT YOU NEED (one-time, ~5 min)

  • A Discord server you administer.
  • A free Discord app + bot — created in the Developer Portal (next article).
  • A role that paying members receive.

Members pay through your Telegram Mini App storefront, then tap Link Discord on their subscription to receive the role. Set it all up in the two articles below.
